IT Engineer Location - US-MI-Kalamazoo Direct Hire/Full Time Responsibilities What You'll Be Doing Are you a technology professional looking for a new challenging opportunity with a great team and organizational culture? If so, this position is for you! The individual in this position will help build, maintain, and manage our enterprise infrastructure and operations services.

Consult with departmental leaders to analyze business requirements and determine appropriate needs for implementation of applicable hardware and software solutions.
Responsible for activities related to system engineering design, and analysis, including but not limited to building, testing, and documenting technology solutions.
Design, implement, test, and document company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, and other hardware.
Design, implement, test, and document company server architecture including physical servers, server virtualization platforms, virtual desktop services, and SAN's.
Monitor, document, report, and analyze network statistics, performing trend analysis and on-going and intervention.
Monitor, document, report, and analyze server infrastructure, performing trend analysis, and on-going and intervention.
Create, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
Perform server and security audits, and system backups and recovery.
Own and maintain relationships with infrastructure vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure products and services.
Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, and other network appliances.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
Practice asset management, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
Participate in the identification and remediation of all technology security issues.

Collaborate on technical and professional subjects with team members.
Implement and maintain controls and security to comply with PCI regulations.
2nd tier support for all Service Desk escalated support issues Participate in the service desk coordinator rotation as a member of the Technology Services team.
Participate in the daily/weekly operations team customer support including fielding support requests from end-users.
Participate in the on-call rotation with the TS team.
Qualifications What You Need for this Position The ideal candidate has attained a Bachelor's degree in a technology field or an equivalent combination of skills/experience and education Understanding of networking concepts and best practices Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Client and Server OS and Active Directory Familiarity with virtualization technologies including VMWare, HorizonView, and Scale computing.
